Tighnabruiach Medical Centre
This rural medical centre provides the community with a GP surgery and also national health facilities including dentist surgery, general purpose room for physio, podiatry, consultations, maternity etc. Provision was also made for visiting clinic and screening serves both housed in the building and the adjacent grounds.
This new purpose built medical facility is situated above the Kyle of Bute in Tighnabruich and located above the village adjacent to the existing primary school.
The site had an existing building which had run into disrepair and was derelict and required to be demolished, making was for this new facility.
FLN were involved in the design of the M&E services from conception to completion and handover of the building.
As part the work FLN incorporated into the design a number of energy efficient and renewable components including underfloor heating and energy efficient lighting.
